History

SKEET HILL HOUSE (Skeet) is an Activity Centre situated near Orpington in a beautiful part of rural Kent.

It was originally purchased by The Brady Boys' Club in 1943 as a place of respite from the difficulties and dangers of life in the war-torn East End of London.

The house, parts of which date back more than 400 years, was originally the Dower House of the nearby Lullingstone Castle Estate.

Set in 7 acres of open countryside, it boasts a SWIMMING POOL, FOOTBALL PITCHES, TENNIS COURT and an OBSTACLE COURSE designed and built by the Army Corps of Engineers, as well as a CAMPSITE.

Skeet has been loved by generations of Jewish Children and has now, due to growing demand, been ENLARGED AND MODERNISED to meet the needs of yet further generations.

The house can now SLEEP 70 PEOPLE with a further 5 places (including a separate Leader's Room) in a specially equipped unit for anyone with a disaility.
